Recruit full-time Research Assistant

The Center for Sign Language and Deaf Studies (CSLDS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was established in 2003. It has been committed to research on sign language linguistics and deaf education. The Center is now recruiting full-time Research Assistant (RA), who should have a Bachelor's degree, be fluent in Hong Kong Sign Language and have a good command of English and Chinese.
Duties of the Research Assistant:
- Providing up-to-date research progress summaries of all research projects,
- Assisting with setting/updating project timeline,
- Coordinate necessary resources between project teams,
- Communicate with the General Office for budgetary matters and any administration procedures,
- Assist with research data organization,
- Coordinate day-to-day laboratory operations and activities across projects,
- Provide assistance in directing and/or carrying out experiments when needed,
- Assist with Research Grants Council (RGC)’s General Research Fund (GRF) related research tasks, and
- Any ad-hoc duties deemed necessary.
