Fun with Sign and Speech (FS2) - Baby Sign Bilingual Class

The Baby Sign Bilingual Class is a parent-child early development programme for children aged 1-3. The class is now held by SLCO Community Resources. A pair of deaf and hearing instructors conduct sign bilingual activities in both natural sign language and spoken language, enabling deaf and hard-of-hearing children to build up a concrete language foundation through sign bilingual language input. Hearing children can also enhance their early language development through learning sign language. The class emphasizes parent-child interaction and enables parents to use sign language as an alternative mode of communication to communicate more effectively with their young children.
